Do your delivery staff speak French?

We are learning as quickly as we can and do have a basic knowledge of the French language but we are not experts yet. We find it difficult to have a conversation in French on the telephone so if you do not speak English and your enquiry is not urgent then it would be best to send us an email and we will answer your question in French.

Can I have my UK supplier deliver directly to you for onward transport to France?

Yes you can! If you would like to have your supplier deliver directly to us then simply let us know and we will provide you with the address of our secure storage unit in Cheshire. We can then hold the goods for you until you are ready to receive them at your property in France.

How do I get a quote to transport goods to and from France?

Use our contact page to send us a quote request. Please include as much information as possible including collection and delivery addresses, consignment weights and dimensions and any potential difficulties in loading/unloading such as staircases or very heavy items.

Do you offer 2 man deliveries?

Normally our drivers travel alone and it is your responsibility to ensure that help is available to load and unload large/heavy items. Although we do have ramps, trucks and dollies to help move such items around and our drivers are very good at problem solving.

How do I pay for your services?

We prefer payment by direct bank transfer but we also accept credit and debit card payments via Paypal – a secure and easy way to pay online. We normally required full payment in advance but for larger consignments we can usually accept a £250 deposit and balance on delivery.

We provide full VAT invoices.

Are my goods insured in transit from the UK to France?

Yes, we are comprehensively covered with full goods in transit and CMR insurance for your peace of mind.

Is a signature required at delivery point?

Yes, we always aim to obtain a signature as proof of delivery. If no-one is available at the delivery point then we will contact you to discuss your options. If you are unavailable when we call and/or the goods cannot be left unsigned for, they may be returned to the point of collection and you may incur a surcharge as per our terms and conditions.

Can I change the collection/delivery time, date or address after booking?

We plan our routes and schedules meticulously so that we can operate as efficiently as possible and therefore save you money. If you need to change any details of your delivery then please let us know immediately and we will do our best to meet your needs, but we cannot guarantee that this will be possible.

What goods can you carry?

Please visit our ‘What Can We Carry’ page.

Can you collect from a UK store and deliver to France?

Yes, providing that the goods are ready at the agreed time, they are complete with all relevant paperwork and they do not need paying for on collection, then we will be happy to collect your goods from a shop or store.

Are my goods subject to export and/or VAT charges?

Certain goods may be subject to excise duty or VAT when leaving or entering a different country.

It is the customers responsibility to ensure that all taxes and charges are paid before we collect the goods and that our driver is provided with all the relevant paperwork to support this.

We will not accept any liability for goods seized or impounded by customs or any other official organisation. Any delivery that fails as a result of refusal by a border agency to allow goods into or out of a country may be subject to a surcharge as per our terms and conditions.
